About Kevin Leveque
Dear friends, Due to the recent and unexpected passing of the artist, Kevin Lawrence Leveque, on January 2, 2023, we are currently in the process of inventorying and fine-tuning the details of the estate. After years of traveling abroad and in the U.S., Kevin moved back to his lovely hometown, Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he "lived to paint". Plenty of "escape" afforded the viewer in this beautiful piece, which arguably is what art on a wall should do -- allow the viewer to escape the confines of the room in which he is "imprisoned". The cloud arrangement works very nicely, effective, with nice drama added from the shadowed foreground.
